Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MLS?
The Multiple Listing System is the most accurate database of available properties where real estate agents take their buyers. Sellers cannot post directly to the MLS — it’s only available to licensed agents and brokers. Once listed, your home also gets exposure on Realtor.com, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia and hundreds of other sites.
Are there any seller’s agent commissions?
No. You pay the $99 flat fee up front to get your property on the MLS and syndicated sites — no listing agent commission.
Are there any buyer’s agent commissions?
If a buyer’s agent brings you a buyer, you pay that agent’s commission if you accept the offer — you choose the amount (most sellers offer 2–2.7%), and it’s stated on your MLS listing. If a buyer finds your listing without an agent, you pay no commission at all.
How many photos can I submit?
Up to 50 photos, which is typically the max the MLS allows.
How long will it take to get my home listed?
Once you sign up, we aim to have your home listed on the MLS within 6–12 hours.
